Meet Dr. Rachel Nelson
A Passion for Helping People Get Back to Life
Growing up in East Grand Forks, Dr. Rachel Nelson dreamed of becoming a doctor from an early age. After building her career and gaining experience helping patients and families, she is excited to return to her roots and serve the community that has always felt like home. Her own experience with chiropractic began following a sports injury while playing high-school hockey. That experience developed into a fascination with the human body and ultimately a career focused on helping others recover and return to their work, hobbies, sport and everyday lives.
Education and Chiropractic Experience
Dr Nelson completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Dakota before earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic with a Sports Emphasis from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, in 2020.
Before establishing her own practice, she spent two and a half years working as an associate chiropractor and developing practical experience caring for patients with a wide range of needs. She then opened Revive Chiropractic in Fargo, ND in 2023 and is now expanding in 2026 to the Greater Grand Forks area.
Chiropractic Care Across the Generations
Dr Nelson has cared for patients ranging from newborns to people approaching 100 years old.
Her experience includes working with athletes returning to sport, individuals experiencing neck and back discomfort related to desk-based work, and patients of all ages—from newborns and children to adults and expectant mothers. She has a special interest in supporting families through every stage of life, including pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care, while helping patients stay active, healthy, and connected to the activities they love. Her priority is to understand what is contributing to each patient’s concern and provide individualised care aimed at helping them live and function at their best.
Outside the Practice
Outside the office, Dr Nelson enjoys spending time with her wife Nicole, their daughters Atlas and Cove and their dog Brew. She also enjoys hockey, hunting, spending time outdoors and getting to the lake whenever possible.
